Petals, Flowers by Sarah is located in Fraiche - 304 Libbie Avenue- on Fridays.

Back in the spring of ‘08, I had just left my job at a local flower shop to pursue my interest in conservation. Scenic Virginia had just hired me to fill a part time position. I was so excited for this new venture, and did wonder was I doing to do with my extra time. Then the phone rang, Vickie Blanchard was calling, and presented the idea “Fraiche Friday’s” to me. She and Lou Gambill wanted me to come to their newshop Friday’s and make fresh flower arrangements. A “New York” type of concept. This is so fun I thought, but how am I going to set myself apart? Conservation. I was introduced to the growers at Tuckahoe Plantation. During the Virginia growing season, I buy most of my materials from them. It doesn’t get much fresher than that! And I am filling my call to conservation as well. 

Mostly my arrangements are small because they are a hostess gift, or a birthday present. I am happy to create what ever you and I can envision.
