Lush and rich, this bride has such elegant taste. Peonies, variegated tulips, garden roses, and natural greens complement her style.

This window at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church had orchids, various ferns, ivy, moss, rocks, shells, pieces of wood, some lichens and a couple of frogs.

It had a nice earthy feeling about it.

Tulips, tip toe…tulips every Friday in April at Fraiche

April 6th, 2011 by Sarah

My informal survey tells me tulips may be the most favorite flower of all. To honor that,  Fraiche will have fresh tulips every Friday (in addition to the regular arrangements) all during the month of April. ($10/bunch)

Tulips do say spring! This arrangement  is made with 30 stems of tulips. The fantail willow adds interest and helps keep the tulip stems in place.  What is happier than when tulips begin to dance? The container is $60, and the arrangement is $55, only at Fraiche.

Fun Fact–A majority of tulips sold in America are grown in Virginia, just outside of Culpeper.   (45 million a year, that’s a lot of tulips.)

Hop into Spring!

Those ladies at Fraiche have done it again! These super cute wire bunnies hold bulb gardens. The larger one on the right includes Hyacinth (mmm, they smell good), daffodils and tulips. It’s all kept tidy with a stick fence. The smaller bunny only has room for the mini daffodils. So cute.
