An Elegant Country Wedding in Hanover

The pew markers were made with lemon leaf, ruskus, wheat and lavender. All tied together with twine, burlap and ribbon. The family pews were marked with the addition of a hydrangea.

The bridesmaids bouquets were in shades of peach and coral, with a touch of green. Each one was wrapped in burlap with a pearl pin detail and some twine. The bride’s bouquet was a simple mix of white hydrangea and Queen Anne’s lace.

The bride wrapped the urn in twine and I made an arrangement of curly willow, forsythia and assorted and some magnificent hydrangeas.

Above are some of the table toppers made by friends. These include elegant flowers, fruit and Buckeyes, hydrangea and the best — a simply beautiful jar of zinnias that the bride and her father grew.

Holly Ball Corsages, Nosegays and Boutonnieres

What a fun time of year! The weekend of December 2-4 is the Holly Ball Cotillion. I’ll be making the 3 rose nosegay ($14), wrist corsages with a great faux pearl band ($20) and boutonnieres ($8).

Choose one of each from the choices below:
1) Roses:red, white or pink

2) Embellishments: gold, silver or red
3) Ribbons: gold, silver, red or pink.
(note: For boutonnieres you may only want to select a rose color.)Pick up either:
Boxwood Greens Sale at Grace Baptist Church– 4200 Dover Road, 32221 on Friday 12/2 between 10am and 2pm, or
7607 Bryn Mawr Rd, 23229 between 2pm and 5pm (google map). Please indicate where you would like to pick up your flowers.If your entire carpool orders, I can have the order ready for one person to pick it up. Please email who will pick up and who is in the carpool.

A Fall Wedding

Just like many of us, this bride was on a budget. Sure, there were a few mums thrown in, but premium flowers make the difference, and you don’t always need a whole lot of a good thing.

The bridal bouquet had white and green decorative cabbage, wax flower, football mums, roses and rosemary for remembrance. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were a combination of an orange lily, rovers, pinkish sedum, burgundy mums, safari sunset and orange roses with buplerum which added an airy feeling.

Table Arrangements:

We had all kinds of combinations of flowers, mirrors, containers and even a few slices of a burl to put on the tables. It looked lush and well planned (because it was).
