YMCA – The New Colors are Fun!

Posted is an arrangement I made for the Patrick Henry YMCA ribbon cutting. The new colors are great for creating bright, fun and energetic arrangements.

Be sure to click on this photo for a better view. The picture was taken viewing the “long and low” from the side. I used moss to cover the oasis instead of greens, and that kept the arrangement from being to dense with greens. The teal wire adds some fun to arrangement, as well as the ribbons.

It is a small table top arrangement with various flowers in small glass containers, and green moss with a little bird in a nest. There is a dragon fly off to the right. All of this is on a small silver tray.

Orchids for Easter available at Fraiche

Orchids have just arrived in Fraiche and many arrangements have lush ferns and ivy.  They are planted in all sorts of fabulous containers.  Some are in tall containers, and some in low, and one in a green ceramic planter, and another in a moss lined basket. Stop by and take a look, I will be there Friday with lots of flowers to choose from too.

Gladiolus aren’t just for funerals anymore…

Gladiolus look great in a clear container and spring branches. Think of them more as a contemporary vertical plant material, and you will  see all new possibilities. Forget about the fan shaped arrangements in plastic baskets and give glads a chance.
